Just some food for thought, I guess. Hopefully these will stick.
1. Keep at least $400 in my savings at all times. 2. Maintain creativity — Finish drawings, sketches, paintings, writings.. :) 3. Be optimistic and see the beauty in things, quality time, and people.
1. Get at least a B- in all my classes. 2. Work out at least once a week. 3. Eat healthier (with some splurge days of course — in moderation) 4. Get tied down & be a scandal no more! (; HAHAH 5. Move out.
This year by far has been an eventful, crazy, fun, entertaining, scandalous, romantic, dramatic, and interesting year. It’s one where I’ve met new friends, had an amazing last half of senior year, graduated high school and began college, failed my first class in college and aced others, been single (and mingling) for the longest period in my life so far since 7th grade (its been about 4 months), started new habits and broke old ones, was introduced to responsibilities and opportunities, and matured far past my age, while still trying to figure out the myself and the way I choose to portray myself to the world…
There’s just so much that’s been done and so many memories that have been made this year. It’s definitely been a journey.
I can’t fathom how much love I have for the people who have positively impacted my life, and at the same time… I can’t thank the people enough who have done me wrong or who have taught me a lesson. So many lessons learned this year.
Shells have been broken, and real personalities have emerged. I’m finding out more about myself and the person I am, as well as realizing that while in a cruel and ugly world, there are still beautiful things and people to enjoy and savor.
Plus some randoms: "Don’t do it! Reconsider!" "I’m down as long as we don’t die, get arrested, or worse.. our parents find out." "Go with the flow." Adding “shm” and “y” to the beginning of/replacing the beginning of every word or nick name. Example: Shatrina (Katrina), Yane (Jane), YOleen, Shmo (jo).
2012, please be good to me. :)
It’ll be a game of give and take, but I feel that A LOT of change is in the air. I feel a goo year coming on. 2012, I’m ready for ya.
When we’re together at home, I hope you don’t get the wrong idea. I don’t want sex. I’d just like to have your company. Lets watch movies, lets take ridiculous dumb photos of ourselves. Lets be chefs for a day. Just because I invite you over, that doesn’t mean INSTANT SEX. I want us to be…
“Women are into decisive men who know what they want, especially when those men want them. Women want to feel wanted and swept off their feet. The whole “friendship” gimmick is not attractive to women. If that’s your approach to a woman you’re interested in, you’re showing that you’re indecisive, scared and don’t know what you’re looking for. Frankly, women don’t want you to realize one day what a great gem they are. They want you to see their potential right away and then pursue them.”—Kate Vershov (via supercalifragi-sexy)
Let’s see… The one from 7th grade, actually hit me up the other day. We’re cool I guess. We never really had a bitter ending. The second real one after that… He creeps me out. I try to avoid him. Haha! My third long relationship, he hated me for awhile.. But not anymore. We hung out like a month or two ago. We’re cool also, but I barely talk to him.then my most recent long relationship, we’re completely civil, and we performed together in the first week of December.. We’re friends still.
Have you ever felt like everybody’s watching Waiting for you to lose? Have you ever felt like you’re living in a spot light, Searching for the real you. Tell me have you ever woken up, Just to wish you could close your eyes? Getting hard to find a friend in a city like this, Where you can’t even trust a smile..
Don’t kick the chair, it’s gonna get better.
Yup, you know. If I can make it through, then you can too.
for fresh starts and new beginnings… Why can’t we start right now? Because it’s hard to convince anyone of changing up the norm. So here’s to waiting for the New Year, where it’s publicly okay to “start fresh.”
